Soccer Game Preview: Diamond Bar vs. Claremont

Diamond Bar and Claremont are an even 3-3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but likely not for long. The Diamond Bar Brahmas will head out on the road to face off against the Claremont Wolfpack at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Diamond Bar's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Diamond Bar is headed into Thursday's following a draw, the team's first since December 10. They and Walnut finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Claremont came up short against Ayala on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 47th).

With that draw, Diamond Bar's record moves to 1-5-2. As for Claremont, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-4-1.
