It's state tournament time for Texas boys basketball, but many of the top stat-stuffers have already had their seasons come to an end. MaxPreps breaks down the top five athletes in the state and where they rank nationally in three major statistical categories.
Points per gameSavion Flagg, Sr., Alvin, No. 15Flagg closed out the final season of his high school career averaging 31.3 points per game. He combined for 80 points in the last two games and finished fifth nationally in made field goals.
Parker Hicks, Sr., Decatur, No. 15Hicks tied with Flagg with a 31.3 points per game average. In six of his final seven games, he tallied 35 or more points. He was fourth nationally in both made field goals and free throws.
Tre'Veon Semien, Sr., Romeo Young Men's Innovation Prep Academy (Paris), No. 26Semien averaged 29.4 points per game this year. He came through with a double-double in all 33 of his team's games, which is the second most double-doubles in the country.
Josiah Johnson, So., Big Sandy, No. 40Johnson had a phenomenal sophomore campaign, scoring 28.7 points a contest. In his final three games, he averaged 33.7.
Quentin Grimes, Jr., College Park (The Woodlands), No. 51Grimes was held to 21 points in a season-ending loss, but he finished the year at 28.1 points per game.

Jones averaged 17 boards this year and had less than 12 rebounds in just one game. He averaged 19.7 rebounds in his final three games.
Pierce Williams, Sr., Dallas Academy (Dallas), No. 7Williams is a flat out stat-stuffer. His final numbers for 16 games this season were 23.9 points, 16.9 rebounds, 4.9 blocks, 3.9 assists, 3.1 steals.
Patrick David, Sr., Somerville, No. 18David averaged 15.4 rebounds per game. He pulled down 11 or more in 27 of 29 contests and had 16 double-doubles.
Grant Carlisle, So., Chisholm Trail Academy (Keene), No. 22Carlisle closed out his second season on the high school court by pulling down 15.2 boards per game. He had 18 or more rebounds seven times.
Chance Parker, Jr., Ballinger, No. 39The 6-foot-5 junior hauled in 14.6 rebounds per game and was sixth in the country in double-doubles with 29.
Assists per gameKareem Lightbourne, So., Texas Christian (Houston), No. 10Lightbourne finished 10th in the country in assists at 8.9 a game. In 14 of his team's 25 games he dished out double-digit assists.
Kendric Davis, Jr., Houston Math Science & Tech (Houston), No. 34Davis averaged 7.4 assists per game and came through with double figures in dimes on 10 occasions.
Colby Buckhanan, Sr., Northland Christian (Houston), No. 34Buckhanan finished his career with 7.4 assists a night. He had 11 assists, nine rebounds and seven points in a game on Feb. 18.
Davian Sanders, So., Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas), No. 49Sanders had a strong sophomore season, averaging 7.1 assists. He distributed 10 assists or more 10 times.
Chandler Garvie, Sr., Village (Houston), No. 66Garvie had a monstrous year. He averaged 14.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 3.0 steals per game. His best outing came on Nov. 22 when he scored 20 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, dished out 13 assists and nabbed six steals.
