Baseball Recap: Woodside Wildcats vs. University Red Devils        
        
		
            
 Woodside scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They walked away with  a   10-7  win over the University Red Devils. The  victory was nothing new for Woodside as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Vincent Vazquez looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Harry Pelzman was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trent Amoroso, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  runs.
 On University's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Owen Chee, who  went 1-for-1 with a  triple and a  run.
 Woodside is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-2-1 record  this season. As for University, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodside will  take on Mills at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for University, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Marin Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
