Pierce lost against Paradise back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears fell 5-2 to the Bobcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Maicey Hoebel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Pierce has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Paradise, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.

While Pierce had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
