Volleyball Recap: Lumpkin County's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Lumpkin County had lost three games at home dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 3-3 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lake Oconee Academy Titans. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Oconee Academy fell to 5-1. The game marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Oconee Academy lost, don't look at Jordan Klevansky. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two assists.

Coincidentally, Lumpkin County and Lake Oconee Academy will both be playing Flowery Branch the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
