Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Clinton took on Nevada on Tuesday. The Cardinals might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-1 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cardinals have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Nevada, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12.

Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nevada, they will take on Mt. Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mountaineers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
