Football Game Preview: American Christian Academy Patriots vs. Pleasant Grove Spartans

The American Christian Academy Patriots will take on the Pleasant Grove Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Pleasant Grove will be coming in after a loss.

American Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Fairfield 43-18 last Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 43 points the game before, Pleasant Grove was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a blow against Anniston, falling 41-13. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-0.

Pleasant Grove now has a losing record of 2-3. As for American Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

American Christian Academy was taken down by Pleasant Grove 41-7 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Patriots were down 21-0.
