Soccer Recap: Veritas Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Veritas Christian Academy managed to keep up with The Pilgrim Academy until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions lost 5-1 to the Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Veritas Christian Academy of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Madelyn Seifert, who's now up to three this season.

Veritas Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for The Pilgrim Academy, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Veritas Christian Academy will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Sussex County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they will take on Atlantic Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
