Ellington came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the South Iron Panthers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win on October 7th.

Lilyanah Tisdale paced Ellington's offense, picking up 14 kills. Tisdale got some help from Tayleigh Cowin and her 31 assists. Megan Copeland controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Ellington's victory bumped their record up to 29-4-1. As for South Iron, they moved to 8-20 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Ellington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Eminence on the 27th. South Iron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
