Monroe's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Lincoln Railsplitters get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Trojans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024 (when they won 14-1).

Monroe's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Monroe will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lincoln: the pair will be back at it again later today.
