Soccer Recap: Santa Rosa Takes a Loss

Santa Rosa lost against Casa Grande back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Santa Rosa Panthers fell just short of the Casa Grande Gauchos by a score of 1-0.

Santa Rosa's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Casa Grande, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Santa Rosa duke it out with the Rancho Cotate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Rosa's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Casa Grande will take on Ukiah in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ukiah is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
