Volleyball Recap: Freeman Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Gayville-Volin + How To Watch

Freeman faced Gayville-Volin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Flyers came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to the Flyers' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-12.

Having lost for the first time this season, Freeman fell to 6-1. As for Gayville-Volin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeman will face off against Bridgewater/Emery at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gayville-Volin, they will head out to face off against Vermillion at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
