Marathon lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Athens, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Red Raiders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bluejays a 10-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Red Raiders have won four games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Marathon now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Athens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marathon will host Auburndale at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Apaches will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Red Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Athens, they will challenge Chequamegon at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
