Basketball Recap: Donaldsonville Falls Short of Richwood in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Donaldsonville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a blow against the Richwood Rams on Friday, falling 76-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since January 4, 2024.

Donaldsonville moved to 17-8 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points over those games. As for Richwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.
