Basketball Recap: Fort Worth Christian Comes Up Short

Fort Worth Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 55-32 to the Midland Christian Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 789th, while the Mustangs are ranked 124th).

Fort Worth Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Midland Christian, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fort Worth Christian Cardinals face off against the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midland Christian has already played their next contest (against Trinity Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
