Football Game Preview: Palmer Trinity Falcons vs. BridgePrep Village Green Bulldogs

The Palmer Trinity Falcons will challenge the BridgePrep Village Green Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Palmer Trinity has three straight victories, BridgePrep Village Green has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

BridgePrep Village Green's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Palmer Trinity hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Falcons breezed past Somerset Academy South Homestead to the tune of 37-0 on Friday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 23 points or more this season.

Palmer Trinity's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Manny Coya, who threw for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Rafael Salvatierra was Coya's top target, picking up 16 receiving yards and one TD, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Meanwhile, BridgePrep Village Green fell victim to Westminster Christian and their airtight defense last Friday. They were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 28-0.

Palmer Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for BridgePrep Village Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Palmer Trinity against BridgePrep Village Green when the teams last played back in August of 2022, as the squad secured a 51-0 win. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
