Queen's Grant put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Monroe Redhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Stallions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Addi Benton made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Alyssa Steele was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Nicole Strickland-Mitchell was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3.

Queen's Grant was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .762. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Queen's Grant's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Monroe, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Queen's Grant wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 20-1 win against Sugar Creek Charter on the 28th. As for Monroe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-3 loss against Hickory Grove Christian on the 25th.
