Volleyball Recap: Powell Comes Up Short

If Powell was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Campbell County on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Clinton Dragons on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since August 28th.

Powell's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 27-12 record this season.

Powell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Anderson County on the 7th.
