Basketball Recap: St. James Academy Comes Up Short

St. James Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 53-52 to the Bishop Miege Stags, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Stags this season, with their most recent defeat being a 53-52 loss last Thursday.

St. James Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Bishop Miege, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bishop Miege beat St. James Academy by a score of 53-52 later that day.
