Homestead is 8-2 against Grafton since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Highlanders will take on the Black Hawks at 4:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Claire Gilbertson and Lauren Faucett did some serious damage despite the final result: Gilbertson went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Faucett went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Faucett's first of the season.
Meanwhile, Grafton lost 12-4 to Port Washington on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Black Hawks have suffered against the Pirates since May 2, 2022.
Grace Zvara was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Another player making a difference was Avery Schoggins, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Grafton now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Homestead, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
