Volleyball Recap: Lemont Comes Up Short

Lemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Reavis Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15.

Lemont's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Reavis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lemont is set to square off against their familiar foe Blue Island Eisenhower at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reavis will take on rival Bremen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
