Caleb Brickhouse Goes Supernova in Platt RVT Defeat

Starting off the list is Platt RVT's Caleb Brickhouse, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brickhouse rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Platt RVT and nudges their season record down to 1-3. Brickhouse and Platt RVT will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. Logan Stone posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT fell to 2-1. Stone and Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bullard-Havens at 6:00 p.m.

Jayvionne Hill was a major factor in ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate]'s victory over Prince RVT on Saturday. Prince RVT had no answer to Hill as he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 32 yards and a touchdown. Hill was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.

If the past is any indication, Hill could be in store for another big game when he takes on O'Brien RVT on Saturday. Hill rushed for 96 yards on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and O'Brien RVT duked it out back in September of 2023.

Another Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT player making an appearance on this list is Alex Lowery. He picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards.

This year, Lowery has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 36.7 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after three games last season, he was only averaging 1.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 17 rushing yards.
