Football Game Preview: Bosqueville Bulldogs vs. Dawson Bulldogs

Bosqueville will square off against Dawson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bosqueville has five straight victories, Dawson has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Bosqueville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Itasca to the tune of 41-0. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dawson fell victim to Axtell and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 44-0 loss at the hands of the Longhorns.

Dawson's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bosqueville, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Bosqueville ended up a good deal behind Dawson in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 19-2. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Dawson's Brant Boatright, who rushed for 103 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries, and also threw for 153 yards on nine of 16 attempts. Now that Bosqueville knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
