            Softball Recap: Bishop Ready Silver Knights vs. Whitehall-Yearling Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Bishop Ready had lost six games at home dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 3-8  on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Whitehall-Yearling Rams get on the board and left with  an   11-0  victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  17-6  on April 2nd.
Bishop Ready got a  massive  performance out of  Ana Sanchez, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Sanchez has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last seven times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Natalie Wohrle, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.

 Bishop Ready  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .594. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in May of 2024.
As for Whitehall-Yearling, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record  this season. Having soared to a lofty 14  runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 On Whitehall-Yearling's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Tamia Latham, who  went 1-for-2 with one  double.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will face off against Buckeye Valley at 5:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Barons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so the Silver Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Whitehall-Yearling, they will take on Westland at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
