            Softball Preview: Torres Toros vs. King City Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            The Torres Toros will head out on the road to  square off against  the King City Mustangs  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Torres is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  16-9 margin over Roosevelt. The  win was nothing new for the Toros as they're now sitting on four straight.
Meanwhile, King City had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by  an  11-4 margin over the Warriors.
 Alizah Carrillo was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned runs off   nine  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news, King City got a big performance out of  Janesa Lopez, who  went 2-for-4 with one  triple and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Avery Munoz, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 King City  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South San Francisco only managed nine  hits.
 Torres' record now sits at 15-13. As for King City, their record is now 18-11.
