Basketball Game Preview: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Anacortes Seahawks

Having just played yesterday, the Cedarcrest Red Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Anacortes Seahawks at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Cedarcrest came up short against WF West and fell 56-43. The Red Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Anacortes had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They greeted the New Year with with a 65-49 victory over the Mariners. The matchup marked the Seahawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Anacortes' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cedarcrest, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Cedarcrest came up short against Anacortes when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 62-58. Can Cedarcrest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
