Grapevine extended their postseason success on Friday against Lubbock-Cooper. They didn't even let the Pirates on the board, marking their second-straight 4-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Grapevine's victory bumped their record up to 32-3. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they moved to 31-15 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grapevine beat the Pirates by a score of 13-8 on Saturday.
