Football Recap: Coleman Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Coleman's offense. They took a blow against the Morrice Orioles on Saturday, falling 54-0. Having soared to a lofty 36 points in the game before, the Comets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Logan Glazier threw for 125 yards on 13 of 38 attempts. Aden Aultman was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards.

Coleman's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Morrice, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coleman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morrice, they will face off against Deckerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Orioles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
