Laney lost against New Hanover back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Laney Buccaneers took a 34-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Hanover Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Buccaneers have lost by exactly nine points.

Laney lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aniece Lewis, who posted nine points and four steals.
