Volleyball Recap: Shiocton Comes Up Short

Shiocton was the 3-2 winner over Weyauwega-Fremont when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Chiefs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhawks on Thursday. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sophie Wagner paced Shiocton's offense, picking up six kills. Wagner got some help from Brooke Beschta and her 12 assists.

Shiocton's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Shiocton has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lourdes on the 18th. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Oakfield on the 18th.
