Basketball Recap: Richland Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Richland Bears beat the Linn Wildcats 42-36.

Linn's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kiana Hostetler, who posted nine points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Vivien Baker, who had seven points.

Richland is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.

As of now, neither Richland nor Linn have any future games scheduled.
