Vance Charter had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Henderson Collegiate Pride with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

Vance Charter's got stronger as the match went on, holding Henderson Collegiate to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-4, 25-2.

Vance Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Stewardson led the charge by getting five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Stewardson a new career-high.

Stewardson wasn't the only good servers: Vance Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Henderson Collegiate only served one.

Vance Charter's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Henderson Collegiate, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.

Coming up, Vance Charter is taking a road trip to face off against Louisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Henderson Collegiate, they will host Excelsior Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
