Basketball Game Preview: Grant Union Prospectors vs. Heppner Mustangs

The Grant Union Prospectors will square off against the Heppner Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Grant Union ended up a good deal behind Enterprise and lost 68-53. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Heppner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-49 heartbreaker at the hands of Weston-McEwen.

Grant Union's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Heppner, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Grant Union was able to grind out a solid win over Heppner in their previous matchup back in January, winning 52-39. Does Grant Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will Heppner turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
