American School for the Deaf had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 43-31 win over the Watkinson Rams.

American School for the Deaf got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Basil Blackford out in front who went 9 of 17 en route to 19 points along with six steals and five boards. Blackford has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of John McCabe, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

American School for the Deaf is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Watkinson, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American School for the Deaf and New York School for the Deaf will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. As for Watkinson, they will head out to take on Wooster at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
