Football Recap: Camden County Comes Up Short

Camden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Gates County Red Barons. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

When it comes to explaining why Camden County lost, don't look at Trot Pipkin. Despite the final result, he picked up 98 receiving yards and one score. Pipkin got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 60 yards.

Camden County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Gates County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

As of now, neither Camden County nor the Red Barons have any future games scheduled.
