Basketball Recap: Barrow Falls Short Against Ranked Sitka

On Friday, Barrow faced Sitka in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Barrow Whalers fell 75-63 to the Sitka Wolves. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (59), the Whalers still had to take the loss.

Barrow's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Sitka, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Barrow has already played their next game, an 84-70 victory against Valdez on the 14th. As for Sitka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 77-61 win against Lathrop on the 14th.
