Soccer Recap: Richlands Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Richlands faced off against Croatan on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Richlands have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Tiana Lee, who's now up to two this season.

Richlands' loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Croatan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-3.

Richlands wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against J.H. Rose on the 21st. As for Croatan, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against East Lincoln on the 15th.
