Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Hornets vs. Sweetwater Red Devils

After flying high against Mar Vista last Wednesday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the Sweetwater Red Devils on Friday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Lincoln was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-18.

Sweetwater was led to victory by Sergio Salazar and Kalvin Arcedera. Salazar had 12 digs and three blocks, while Arcedera had 14 digs and two aces.
