Volleyball Recap: Colonial Takes a Loss

Colonial and Boone squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Colonial had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Braves. The Grenadiers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Boone was led to victory by Jonah Folks and Jackson Ayoung-Chee. Folks had 12 digs and two aces, while Ayoung-Chee had 21 assists and two aces. That's the most assists Ayoung-Chee has posted over his last ten matches.

Colonial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Boone, they moved to 7-11 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Colonial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boone, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Timber Creek on the 29th.
