Volleyball Recap: Walnut Snags 12th Victory in Last 13 Games

After losing to Pontotoc the last time they met, Walnut decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Henlee Sisco paced Walnut's offense, picking up eight kills. Sisco got some help from Vivian Brown and her 15 assists. Sisco and Brown didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Walnut has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2-1 record this season. As for Pontotoc, they now have a losing record of 10-11-1.

Walnut has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hernando on the 13th. As for Pontotoc, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Alcorn Central on the 13th.
