Football Game Preview: Broken Arrow Tigers vs. Bixby Spartans + How To Watch

Broken Arrow has won four straight games at home, while Bixby has won four straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Spartans at 1:00 p.m.

Broken Arrow is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Mustang with points to spare, taking the game 29-14.

Meanwhile, Bixby humbled Union with a 51-14 victory. With the Spartans ahead 37-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Broken Arrow better keep an eye on Jayson Moll. He was instrumental in Bixby's win, rushing for 142 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Moll a new career-high. Nathan Gonzalez was in the mix too, providing Bixby with two scores.

Bixby was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 158 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Bixby didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Gonzalez led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Broken Arrow's record now sits at 9-2. As for Bixby, their record is now 11-0.

Broken Arrow was dealt a bruising 51-7 loss at the hands of Bixby in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Spartans' Carson Kirby, who threw for 300 yards and six TDs while completing 84.2% of his passes.
