Baseball Recap: Foothill Tech Comes Up Short

Foothill Tech and Estancia squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Foothill Tech had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dragons have suffered since April 12th.

Foothill Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Davin Arth, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Arth has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

With the defeat, Foothill Tech broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-14. As for Estancia, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-13.

Foothill Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Estancia, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Pacifica Christian on the 23rd.
