Ian Cline Turns in Season-Best Performance
Providence Day was led to victory by Ian Cline, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Cline rushed for 275 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 39 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Unfortunately for Charlotte Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cline. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Cline saw the Knights), he rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.7 yards per carry.

Carson Clutter and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Charlotte Latin picked up their eighth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Carson Clutter. Clutter was unstoppable, rushing for 157 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Those 157 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Charlotte Latin pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Clutter will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Charlotte Christian on Friday.

Jacobson Made His Presence Known in Charlotte Country Day School's 20-17 Defeat
Sam Jacobson continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his third-straight game with at least 118 rushing yards. He rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Charlotte Country Day School has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. Jacobson and Charlotte Country Day School will face off against Metrolina Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Charlotte Latin Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Gavin Provencher
Gavin Provencher was instrumental in extending Charlotte Latin's winning streak to eight on Thursday. Charlotte Country Day School had no answer to Provencher as he picked up 55 receiving yards.
This year, Provencher has averaged 24.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 12.63 receiving yards per game.
