Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Bay City Western Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-2 loss on Monday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Bay City Western, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Central is taking a road trip to square off against Powers Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay City Western, they will face off against Fenton at 3:45 p.m. on the 22nd.
