Volleyball Recap: Giles Extends Winning Streak to 11

Giles waltzed into their game on Wednesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Auburn Eagles. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October.

Sophie Taylor paced Giles' offense, picking up 39 kills. Taylor got some help from Kylee Snider and her 39 assists. Taylor also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Peyton Evans, racking up three apiece.

Giles pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Auburn, their loss ended a 19-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-2.
