Genesee barely beat Clearwater Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Genesee put the hurt on Clearwater Valley with a sharp 8-1 win on Friday. Kendra Meyer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
