Baseball Recap: Concord-Carlisle Takes a Loss

Concord-Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Warriors when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Concord-Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord-Carlisle will challenge Shawsheen Valley Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they will square off against Framingham at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Warriors' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Flyers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
