Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Cristo Rey St. Martin's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Cristo Rey St. Martin lost to Trinity Oaks Christian Academy back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The CRSM walked away with a 2-0 win over the Huskies.

Cristo Rey St. Martin never let Trinity Oaks Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21.

JoseLuis Ocampo paced Cristo Rey St. Martin's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ocampo got some help from Jake Canales and his 12 assists. Finally, Canales was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Cristo Rey St. Martin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-14-1 record this season. As for Trinity Oaks Christian Academy, they moved to 14-4 with that loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.
