Baseball Recap: Ranger Comes Up Short

Ranger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bluff Dale Bobcats, falling 18-0. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Ranger's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bluff Dale, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ranger will welcome Gordon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bluff Dale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.13 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
