Basketball Game Preview: Sheridan Generals vs. Meadowbrook Colts

The Sheridan Generals will challenge the Meadowbrook Colts at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sheridan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, everything went Sheridan's way against River View as Sheridan made off with a 63-38 win. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Meadowbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 68-27 defeat at the hands of Indian Valley. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 564th, while the Braves are ranked 124th).

Sheridan now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Meadowbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Everything came up roses for Sheridan against Meadowbrook in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 69-28 victory. Does Sheridan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Meadowbrook turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
